Residential and Commercial Landscaping
We are available for the complete landscape of new construction, renovation of any existing landscape, and installation of specific components such as boulders, mulch, and outdoor lighting.
Irrigation System Integration with the Landscape
We are available for complete irrigation system installation. We will present you with options that will give you the greatest value for the dollar spent. These options would include a rain sensor which would shut the irrigation system completely off if adequate rainfall warranted that action, an automatic fill system for your water feature, and even the possibility of drip irrigation to water the container plants on your porch, patio, hanging baskets, and the refilling of your birdbath.
Landscape Construction and Hardscape Installation:
We install many types of retaining walls including timber, block, and boulder walls. The planning of a wall will always have an emphasis on proper grading, backfilling, and drainage. There is nothing worse than a project that is improperly graded or compacted during the backfilling process leaving behind a project that just simply has to be "redone". Over half of the work that we do in landscaping is correcting a project that another contractor completed incorrectly or hastily.
Planting
The addition of the trees, shrubs, grasses, and perennials in the landscape really makes everything come to life. There are endless possibilities for the plant material all around your home, and we will help you find the plants you have in mind.
Rock and Mulch
The rock, mulch, and other ground cover that you use in your landscape will define the color and texture of the project. Mulch has a lovely, soft, natural appearance and makes a delightful bed for planting. We do not install fabric with mulch, only with rock because the mulch blows from the fabric with little effort. Generally speaking, we only use "Gorilla Hair" mulch because of it's hairy interwoven texture that resists blowing from the bed. In our opinionated opinion, we have an extremely strong distaste for red mulch. Who invented that stuff?
Dirt work and grading
We have a full lineup of equipment to do excavation work all the way down to the smallest work. Our staff is capable of foundation type excavation work as well as road installation experience. We can set grade within 1/4" (seriously) and use a laser as one of our grading tools. We use a variety of specialized attachments from small to large enabling us to perform larger tasks with a smaller crew.
Pavers
Pavers add a certain class to any project. Because of the wide array of choice that we have in color, shape, size, and texture, pavers really are a favorite of many for a patio or walk / path. These choices will determine the overall appearance and feel of the finished project giving it a formal or casual appearance. Belgard is the product of choice in our opinion simply because of the genuine integrity of the product. We have an incredible backing from the manufacturer as well as the distributor which is extremely important. These people are incredible. Belgard offers a lifetime warranty on all of their material, which is second to none. Other pavers frequently break during installation and lack consistency in color, but not the case with Belgard. Outdoor Lighting
Lawn and landscape lighting is an incredible upgrade to any landscape. If your current landscape is already complete, we can still install lighting without harm to the irrigation system or other elements present in the landscape. The fixtures that we can offer you are so much different than what are available at the local hardware store there is no comparison. The difference will be obvious, even at a distance. We can bring demonstration kit to your home for a couple of days and set it up for you to see what this is all about and how it works.
