Answer :
Definitely. Many of our customers have chosen to install their landscape in phases. We would recommend designing the entire landscape before starting any work. By planning ahead, we can install simple components such as piping or wiring without having to dig through the first area again.

Will a pond require a high frequency of maintenance?
|

Answer :
Monthly maintenance is typical of a well designed pond. A properly designed and installed pond will operate as a complete eco-system. We will install mechanical filtration that will be adequate for the size of the pond. Biological colonization will be promoted and will sustain itself in the pond. These two types of filtration will keep the water exceptionally clear. Although algae is a challenge, monthly maintenance is usually adequate for very good control.

How often should I fertilize my lawn?

Answer :
Your lawn should be fertilized 5 times annually at about 6 week intervals. The nitrogen in the fertilizer will generally last right at about 6 weeks. By keeping the lawn growing you will enjoy both the rich green color as well as increasing the turf density.

When should we turn on the water for the sprinkler system?

Answer :
Sometime between the second week in April and the first week in May. It is important that the risk of freezing weather during the nighttime hours is past so that no damage to the system will occur.

Answer :
We are available every night of the year except Christmas night. We can sweep quarterly, monthly, weekly, and nightly; and any schedule you prefer.

How much snow will be necessary for you to service our property?

Answer :
When we meet, you will set the threshold of the depth of snow required for snow plowing operations to begin. Some of our customers want us to come any time slippery conditions exist, while others do not require service unless there is two inches of accumulated snow.

How will you know if our parking lot requires snow service?
|
|
Answer :
We have crews out every night of the year except Christmas sweeping parking lots. These crews are aware of the weather conditions and use two way radios to contact additional crews when the weather comes in. We are very proactive in monitoring the weather so we can provide you with the highest quality work.
